Montgomery County Model Airplane Club

McMac R/C club has started a simple combat group within our club, but also open to other club members. We use simple standardized planes, motors, and batteries. Scoring is cumulative over various events through the summer, but daily winners are recognized. It's a great way to have fun and rapidly improve your piloting skills.
In a nutshell, all contestants launch concurrently, and try to cut the streamer on other planes. 5 points for launching and staying aloft before combat begins (about 20 seconds), 5 points for each streamer cut, 5 points for staying up the whole 5 minutes, 5 points for landing on a designated spot.
